For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. For learners that have attened a course in person or online we retain you information for a period of two years unless otherwise required by an examination authority.

Having regard to the principles contained in Article 5(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU No. 2016/679) (“GDPR”), it is the policy of ALTHRIS to: retain personal data in identifiable form only for such period as is necessary in relation to the purpose for which the data are processed (the “storage limitation” principle); ensure that personal data retained by ALTHRIS is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose for which it is processed (the “data minimisation” principle); and take all reasonable measures to ensure that personal data retained by ALTHRIS are accurate (the “accuracy” principle).
This grievance procedure applies to both staff and learners in the organization. When a work-related or training issue cannot be resolved through discussions between the individuals concerned, the aggrieved person can file a grievance.
To file a grievance, the staff member or learner submits a written statement summarizing the issue to management. Because it is more difficult to resolve outdated issues, grievances must be submitted in a timely manner, normally within one month of the failure to resolve the issue through informal channels. The following information should be included:
Grievance Statement – A description of the work-related issue, including the policy or rule that the staff member alleges was violated, if applicable, and the name of the respondent.
Background – A statement of the relevant facts supporting the staff member’s position, including information about the impact the issue has had or is having on the staff member.
Requested Resolution – A statement of what the staff member is requesting as a satisfactory resolution to the grievance.
