Welcome to the Althris.com website (“the Site”) from Zilpany Limited where you may book and pay for attendance at training courses run by Althris Training.
These terms and conditions govern your use of the above mentioned websites and bookings made with Althris .By booking a training course you are agreeing to accept the Terms and Conditions as outlined below.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes are effective immediately upon posting to the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to such Terms and Conditions.
Your Status
In order to book a training course you must be at least 18 years old and you must be legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
Availability of Training Courses
Any booking for a training module placed through this Site is subject to there being availability on the training module. We reserve the right to decline any individual or company, or to refuse any booking onto one of our training courses.
Payment
Payments can be made online through one of the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard and Laser.
Individual Bookings Full payment is due two weeks before the start of a course. Payment can be made by either Credit Card, Electronic Fund Transfer or Cheque. Cash payments are not acceptable. Only full payment secures a place on the course.
Company Bookings For new clients, an invoice will be sent to your organisation at the time of booking and full payment should be made a minimum of 15 days prior to the start of the course.. In the case of last minute bookings, and within 2 weeks of the course start date, full payment must be made by credit card or electronic bank transfer on confirmation of the booking.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Course Cancellation
- Full refund will be given for cancellations made in excess of 15 working days before the course start date
- For cancellations made within 5-15 working days before the course start date, a 50% charge will apply
- For cancellations made 5 working days or less before course start date, 100% cancellation fee will apply
- No refund will be made to delegates who fail to attend classes or who do not complete the course.
Course Transfers/Change of Date
Companies and individuals may substitute participants prior to the start of the course without additional payment. Course transfer or change of date requires that notification by phone or e-mail is received by Althris more than 15 working days prior to the course commencement date.
Disclaimer Althris reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any course at any time. In the unlikely event of cancellation, fees will be refunded. Althris also reserves the right to re-schedule the start dates of all courses and, if necessary, to vary the content. Except where expressly stated, all fees are non-refundable. While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information on the web-site, it may be subject to later alteration or amendment in the light of policy changes, course updates or other constraints.
Redemption of Vouchers
For PeopleCert related course it is essential that students redeem their vouchers prior to taking the course. Redeeming the voucher will grant you access to the following:
1. The Official Book
2. The Official Training Material
3. PeopleCert exam scheduling platform
4. Candidate’s certificate (upon successful achievement of your certification) enabling recognition of your learning and acquired knowledge.
Once the voucher is redeemed, you have the option to select the date and time for your official exam from the available slots at any time before the voucher’s expiry date.
Complaints
The Althris Complaints Procedure offers a facility to learners and organisation who wish to make a complaint to Althris regarding our services or the manner in which we conduct our business. It is the policy of Althris to deal with all complaints in a fair manner and in accordance with the principles of natural fairness and equality.
How to make a complaint
A Participant on an Althris Training Programme (learner) should firstly bring his/her complaint on an informal basis to the attention of the course instructor, tutor or facilitator. The complaint can be made verbally at the time.
If the complaint is not resolved informally or the learner does not wish to deal directly with the instructor or tutor the complaint may contact the Althris Complaint Representative directly at admin@althris.com.
It is important that the following information is provided when making a complaint.
A Complaints Form will be issued or emailed to the participant/learner with the flowing information added:
1. Name, home address and a daytime telephone/mobile number
2. Full details of the complaint including times ,dates etc
3. Names of those involved (including Althris staff)
4. Copies of any relevant documentation
What will happen next?
1. Once received the Complaints Log will be updated and a complaints file created for the learner which will be held within a secure filing system.
2. Receipt of a formal complaint, the complaints Log will be updated and a complaints file created for the learner which will be held within a secure filing system.
3. The complaint will be acknowledged within 5 working days and the Centre Manager concerned will then decide how the complaint should be handled.
4. A decision on the complaint will be issued to the complainant within 28 working days of the letter of acknowledgement.
5. All complaints will be dealt with in confidence.

Online Training Courses
You will have access to the course material for the duration of the programme and until you sit your exam. Once you have logged on to the course, refunds cannot be made.
You will be issued with a user name and password to facilitate your log in to the course material. Your subscription, and the user name and password, are personal to you and cannot be transferred to any other person without the prior written consent of the Althris . Should you give your user name and password to any other person and in the event that the course material is accessed by a third party to whom you have given your username and password, Althris may terminate your subscription without obligation to refund any fees.
Liability and Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, we provide the Site without any warranties or guarantees. In particular, we do not warrant that the Site or any of its contents are virus free. You must take your own precautions in this respect, as we accept no responsibility for any infection by virus or other contamination or by anything, which has destructive properties. Although we do our best to provide constant, uninterrupted access to the Site, we do not guarantee this. We accept no responsibility or liability for any interruption or delay. The Site provides content from other sources and while we try to ensure that material included on the Site is correct, we cannot accept responsibility if this is not the case. This disclaimer does not affect your organisation’s statutory rights.
To the full extent allowed by law, you agree that Zilpany Limited will not be liable to you for any consequential or incidental damages (including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of anticipated savings, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) or any other indirect, special or punitive damages whatsoever that arise out of or relating to the Site. If we are found to be liable to you our liability shall not exceed the membership fees. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude Zilpany Limited’s liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence.
Use of Material on the Website
For the purposes of this agreement, “material” includes, without limitation, text, video, graphics and sound material, published on the Site. You may download and print extracts from the material and make copies of these for your own personal and non-commercial use only. You are not allowed to download or print the material, or extracts from it, in a systematic or regular manner or otherwise so as to create a database in electronic or paper form comprising all or part of the material appearing on the Site. You must not reproduce any part of the Site or the material or transmit it to or store it in any other website or disseminate any part of the material in any other form, unless we have indicated that you may do so.
Third Party Advertising on the Website
You may see advertising material submitted by third parties on the Site. Individual advertisers are solely responsible for the content of advertising material, which they submit to us, including ensuring that it complies with relevant legislation. We accept no responsibility for the content of advertising material, including, without limitation, any error, omission or inaccuracy.
Governing Law
The Terms and Conditions shall for all purposes be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ireland. You and Zilpany Limited agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Ireland. The place and performance of this agreement shall be Ireland.

Althris has always been committed to building a community based on trust. We have recently updated our Privacy Policy to clarify how we use, process & protect your personal information in keeping with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Changes to this policy
We may need to make changes to this policy periodically, for example, legislative changes. When changes are made, we will revise the ‘Effective date’ of this policy.
